add other email accounts to gmail


Here are the instruction with pictures on how to add any email address to your gmail account.  These instruction work for work, mts, hotmail, yahoo, shaw, school, or any other email address you may have.  If there is any problems with these instruction please email call or txt me.

1. Click on the gear over on the right hand side.

2. Then click settings

3. then select accounts

4. Then click Add another email account you own.

5. Enter the nane you would like to Display when people see emails from you and enter the email address you would like to get email from.  E.I (Compter Tech and tech@riverviewcc.ca)

6. click next

7. click Send Verification

Then window will change to this

Do not close it.

8. login into the email you would like to receive emails from and look for an email that looks like this and Open it

9. then Copy the Confirmation Code: ( the code will be different each time)

10. Then paste it in the box under Enter and verify confirmation code and then click Verify.  The window will close and will now be able to send and receive email from that account.  The last step is to show you how to send email from that address

11. To send an email from the new email address you would Compose a message like you would any other message but before clicking send you will click your email address and select the email address you would like to send the message from.
